Ambition Through the Seasons of Motherhood with Laura Munkholm

Have you ever declined help from a friend because you didn’t want to feel in debt?

I’ve talked about this fear of reciprocity with many women, and in today’s conversation with Laura Munkholm, we go in depth to why it’s a thing – and how to get past it to live our best lives.

Laura and I have been on similar journeys. We attended high school together and reconnected via Facebook in 2015 over our shared experiences as yoga studio owners, consultants for MINDBODY software, entrepreneurs and mothers.

Today she is a speaker, mother of two, and the president and co-founder of Walla, a comprehensive software company that's taking on the health and wellness space.

In this episode, Laura and I talk about her motherhood and entrepreneurial journey, getting past this “fear of reciprocity” to accept help, and why sharing our ambitions with our children is so important.
