How To Love Your Life with Adam Roa
Today, I’m excited to introduce you to a person who played an ENORMOUS role in inspiring the MotherLoad podcast.
Meet Adam Roa, my incredible coach, mentor, and the poet behind the viral YouTube poem, “You Are Who You’ve Been Looking For.” He’s a filmmaker, speaker, creator, and he runs the One Infinity Mastermind program.
I spoke in great detail about my participation in the One Infinity program in my third episode, “How Ayahuasca Changed Motherhood for Me,” which I strongly recommend listening to before this one. At the end of this program, on the train from Cusco to Machu Picchu, Adam and I discussed what I’d make of my Ayahuasca journey.
So much of my experience involved grappling with my identity as a mother, but I didn’t want my future project to be about mothering.
His response: Why not? Everyone has a mother. It is a universal truth.
The rest, of course, is history.
In this episode, Adam and I discussed a number of topics – pacing, trauma, relationships, personal journeys, learning to love life – and, per usual, our conversation went very deep very quickly.
