How Ayahuasca Changed Motherhood for Me

Today I’m going to talk about something that completely changed my life.

This year, I went on an Ayahuasca mastermind retreat in the Peruvian Amazon, an intense 12-day experience with three Ayahuasca ceremonies. There were blessings, plant medicine, psychedelic experiences, and very real epiphanies about motherhood. It completely shook up my perspective of the past and future.

It’s a big moment for me to sit here and talk about it, and to be on this path with my business and podcast. Three months ago, I wouldn’t have thought ambitious, high-achieving women would be interested in talking about motherhood. They’d want to instead focus on business.

The thing is, you cannot not be a mother once you are one. At a scale that no one else understands, it changes who you are.

And it doesn’t mean you can’t continue to succeed – in fact, it means you can go on to do incredible things, because if you can become a mother, you’ve proved you can do anything. It’s the most radical shift there is.
